New Delhi, March 16, 2012: Cementing its foothold in the premium segment, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) thrilled biking enthusiasts in India today with the launch of CBR 150R – Honda’s wildly popular sports bike across the globe.
 
The first model  CBR400F was launched in 1983 and then in 1989 with the launch of CBR1000F CBR has made a global recognition in the super sports bike. In 2009 CBR1000RR was introduced in India as a living legend for  biking enthusiasts. In 2011, this was followed by CBR 250R, the affordable global sports bike that created new benchmark in 250cc category. To further strengthen the brand image of Honda, now CBR150R has been introduced. CBR150R designing has been inspired from RC212V Moto GP champion of 2011. CBR150R is the entry level sports bike for those who have passion of racing . A True Racing Sensation.

CBR 150R has new age graphics which thrills bike enthusiasts. It has dual layered full body cowling, which improves aerodynamics and performance of the bike. CBR 150R incorporates Y shaped Headlight, short pentagonal muffler and digital meter which adds to the style quotient of the bike.

CBR 150R has light and compact DOHC 150cc engine which produces peak power of 13.11 Kw (17.6 BHP) @ 10,500 RPM and peak torque of 12.66 Nm @ 8500rpm which is ideal for both highway and city riding condition. Adding to the sports performance, CBR 150R has twin tubular frame which increases the stability of the bike, liquid cooling and PGM-FI increases the efficiency of the engine giving maximum output with minimum effort.

CBR 150R comes with Front & Rear Disc brakes, Mono-Suspension and wide front and rear tubeless tyres which gives the rider sports performance with better stability at cornering, excellent braking confidence and comfort.

Advance O2 sensor and air inductor make the bike Environment friendly with low emissions.

CBR 150R will be available in 2 variants– Standard and Deluxe. The Standard variant will be available in 2 shades – Black with Pearl Sunbeam White and Sports Red with Pearl Sunbeam White. The Deluxe model (with special sporty graphics) shall be available in Black with Candy Palm Green & Vibrant Orange with Pearl Sunbeam White colour.

The new CBR 150 R is attractively priced at Rs. 1,18,525 Standard Variant (ex-showroom Delhi) and Deluxe variant is Rs. 1,19,544. The new CBR 150R will be available at all Honda Exclusive Authorized Dealerships at the end of March, 2012 for which the bookings has already started.
