Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (formerly Central Police Canteen (CPC)

The Ministry of Home Affairs has set up the Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (formerly CPC) System that came into existence on 18th Sept 2006 as a measure of welfare for the serving, retired CAPFs (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles) personnel and their immediate family members.

As of now, it has 119 Master Canteen which act as Distribution Centre and 1778 Subsidiary Canteens which sells products to the troops and their families. Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar facilities have also been extended to various departments under MHA personnel and other central security agencies personnel wiz RPF, I.B., SPG, NCRB, NIA and all State Police organisations.

Process for KPKB purchase

  • A valid departmental ID is the primary and mandatory document required to avail special KPKB discounts.
  • Customers may also submit a Purchase Order from the KPKB Canteen as a secondary document to support the purchase.
  • Immediate family members can buy under this scheme by presenting a valid government-issued ID (e.g., Aadhaar) along with the departmental ID of the eligible personnel as proof of relation.
