Honda Global Environmental Slogan and Symbol

As an expression of our determination to continue furthering environmental initiatives toward the realization of our vision for the future, we established the Honda Global Environmental Slogan – Blue Skies for Our Children – and the Honda global environmental symbol was established as a symbol of the slogan.

“We want to pass on the joy and freedom of mobility to the next generation (for our children), and that’s why we are committed to realizing a sustainable society where people can enjoy life (blue skies).”
This slogan symbolizes Honda’s unwavering commitment to environmental efforts, reflecting both our past and future aspirations.

Global Environmental Symbol

The design features a round globe motif that represents the natural blessings essential for achieving a “sustainable society where people can enjoy life.” It includes the sun and blue skies (clean air), clean water, and lush green land. The central white line symbolises the pathways for free mobility, while the heart represents Honda’s commitment and passion for environmental efforts

Rainwater Harvesting

HMSI has also taken sustainability measures in the areas located outside its own plants. This measure is in line with Honda's commitment towards the environment.

The company has developed ponds through rainwater harvesting at its sites, as listed below:

· Vithalapur Region
· Manesar Region: Gaushala, Baba Bhishnath, Bhaiyan, Sehrawan, Kherki 1 (2 sites), Mau, and Pairi.
· Tapukara: Kamalpur, Tapukara, Budibawal, and Salarpur.

The local communities use these ponds in these areas for different purposes.

Eco-friendly Initiatives

HMSI has long been a trendsetter in the Indian markets for its motorcycle and scooters. Additionally, it is a pioneer for its eco-friendly initiatives, which continue to help achieve its emission targets.

The Green Dealer Concept

Having recognised that its dealers wanted to reduce their environmental footprint as well, Honda launched the Green Dealer Concept. This is part of the company's aim to reduce its carbon footprint at every step of supplying vehicles to consumers.

The concept envisions providing new tools to Honda's dealers to evaluate and reduce their energy and water use, save money, and enhance their business operations.
