Gurugram, 16 April 2025: Continuing its legacy of customer-centric offerings, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today introduced the new OBD2B compliant Dio 125. Packed with bold aesthetics and advanced features, the prices of the new 2025 Honda Dio 125 start at Rs. 96,749 (ex-showroom Pune).

New Dio 125: Advanced Features and New Colours
The Dio 125 now comes with vibrant, refreshed graphics and striking colour schemes that amplify its funky and youthful appeal. It boasts a host of new advancements designed to elevate the riding experience of customers. At the heart of this upgrade is a 123.92cc, single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine that is now OBD2B compliant. It develops 6.11 kW of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. This moto-scooter is also equipped with an advanced Idling stop system which enhances fuel efficiency, aligning with Honda’s sustainable philosophy.
In terms of features, the Dio 125 sports a new 4.2-inch TFT display with mileage indicators, trip meter, Eco indicator, and range (distance to empty). It is compatible with Honda RoadSync app, enabling functions like navigation and call/message alerts, allowing riders to stay connected while on the move. The Dio 125 also comes equipped with a Smart key and a USB Type-C charging port, ensuring convenience for riders to charge their devices on the go.
Standing true to the trust reposed by millions of customers over the years in brand Dio, the Dio 125 retains its iconic silhouette, enhancing its visual appeal. It will be offered in two variants, DLX and H-Smart, with five colour options on sale. They are – Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, and Imperial Red.

Gurugram, 17 March 2025: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today introduced the updated OBD2B-compliant Shine 100 with enhanced styling. The new 2025 Honda Shine 100 has been priced at Rs. 68,767 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is now available at HMSI dealerships across India.
Introducing the updated Shine 100, Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “We are happy to introduce the new OBD2B-compliant Shine 100 to our customers in India. New Shine 100: Updated Design and Engine
The new Shine 100 sports an elegant design language inspired by India’s favourite Shine 125. It features refreshed graphics on the body panels along with Honda logo. Its appealing front cowl, blacked-out alloy wheels, practical aluminium grabrail, long & comfortable single-piece seat, and sleek muffler compliment the smooth style of the motorcycle while enhancing convenience for everyday commuting.
The Shine 100 is offered in five dynamic colour options, catering to diverse rider preferences. They are – Black with Red, Black with Blue, Black with Orange, Black with Gray, and Black with Green. Built on a lightweight yet durable diamond-type frame, the Shine 100 is designed for superior ride comfort. It comes equipped with telescopic front forks & twin rear shock absorbers, ensuring stability on various road conditions.
For added safety, the Shine 100 features drum brakes at both ends with CBS (Combined Braking System). Powering this motorcycle is a 98.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, now OBD2B-compliant to meet the latest emission regulations. This engine delivers 5.43 kW of power at 7500 RPM and 8.04 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride. It comes paired with a 4-speed gearbox.

Chennai, 18th February 2025: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), a leading two-wheeler manufacturer in the country, has achieved a significant milestone in its journey. The company has recorded a cumulative 2 crore two-wheeler sales in South India, marking a new chapter in its presence across key markets.
Since commencing operations in India, HMSI has built a strong customer base across Southern India. The company reached its 1 crore sales milestone in this market in 17 years. Accelerating its growth, the next 1 crore sales were achieved in just 7 years, bringing the total to 2 crore mark.
