Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) is committed to environmental sustainability and public health by strictly adhering to the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, as notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

  • All HMSI plant locations across India follow these government-mandated guidelines to manage biomedical waste generated during health care activities within its HCF’s. Each plant ensures proper segregation, collection, storage, and disposal of biomedical waste using color-coded containers and designated treatment protocols. HMSI collaborates with authorized Common Biomedical Waste Treatment Facilities (CBWTFs) to ensure safe and compliant disposal, minimizing environmental impact and health risks.
  • Regular audits, staff training, and awareness programs are conducted to maintain high standards of hygiene and compliance through these efforts, HMSI not only fulfills regulatory obligations but also contributes to a cleaner and safer environment.
