Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. is recalling 01 Goldwing Motorcycle of December 2013 model. The Frontal airbag inflator in motorcycle may rapture when deploying during a crash. The potential for such rupture may occur in the subject airbag inflator after prolonged exposure to persistent condition of high absolute humidity.

In India, we have 01 affected unit as per the details mentioned below :

Customer of this vehicle is requested to contact HMSI Wing World (to below mentioned contact person for repair). HMSI will replace the Airbag module free of charge.

Honda has identified a suspected quality issue of excessive hardness in “Bolt Flange 10X42” mounted in the front fork of 56,194 units of AVIATOR / ACTIVA125 / GRAZIA.

With customer safety and comfort its utmost priority, Honda as a pre-cautionary measure, will voluntarily inspect these models manufactured between 7th Februrary, 2018 to 16th March, 2018. Honda will replace the suspected part, if required, on Free of Cost basis irrespective to the affected vehicles Warranty Status.

Honda has voluntarily announced a global campaign for suspected quality issue in one of its Honda Genuine Accessory “Kit Main Stand” optional for CRF 1000L. No cases of failure have been reported in India so far. This inspection is specific to those vehicles which are installed with Honda Genuine Accessory “Kit Main Stand”.

Honda will replace the Circlip of Honda Genuine Accessory “Kit Main Stand” on free of cost basis.
